On Friday 6th February, Karl McCartney MP, the local Member of Parliament for Lincoln cut the ribbon at the new Cedar Park Healthcare facility on Boundary Lane.
This new medical facility offers a range of minor operations and procedures and was commissioned to provide primary care to patients across Lincolnshire having received accreditation and registration with the Care Quality Commission in December 2014.
Surgical procedures carried out at Cedar Park Healthcare include hernia repairs and vasectomies while non-surgical services include a diabetes clinic, flu vaccinations and Phoenix smoking cessation sessions.
The purpose built one story facility has ample parking and easy access for all. Private patients are accepted and NHS patients are referred to Cedar Park by their GP.
Cedar Park is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 7.30pm and is headed up by Mr EO Ojo and Mrs Gloria Ojo. They hope this new facility will assist local NHS commissioners to better meet the objectives they set for Lincoln and the surrounding area.
When asked about his involvement in the formal opening Karl McCartney MP stated that he “was delighted to take the time to formally open what will doubtless be a very important part of NHS health provision in Lincoln and one that had been realised through the dedication of the Management Team who were realising their ambition to make a huge contribution to the health and wellbeing of my constituents in Lincoln and the people of Lincolnshire”
