Local Election Results 2022

On a tough night generally for the Conservative Party nationally, we were pleased to retain 3 of the 4 seats that we held that were up for election yesterday. Cllrs Hilton Spratt and Cllr Alan Briggs were re-elected in Witham and Birchwood, while Cllr Rachel Storer was newly elected in Hartsholme, replacing the retiring Cllr Andy Kerry. 

This leaves us with 9 seats in total on the City Council, with a further 2 held by the Liberal Democrats and 22 by Labour.

Rachel was elected as a councillor for Hartsholme Ward on 5 May 2022 at the local elections.  Rachel was born and raised in Lincoln and lives in the city with her husband and family. Rachel has had careers in both business and public service, gaining skills that she uses to help people addres
